International collaboration

The student campus includes 15 dormitories (with a total capacity of more than 3000 places, of which 1350 for local students, 1250 for international students and 400 for residents), the University Sports Complex with 3 sports blocks and an outdoor field. USMF "Nicolae Testemițanu" has 8 teaching and auditorium blocks, the University Sociocultural Complex, the University Food Complex with 2 canteens.

Currently, the University is undergoing a complex process of modernization and internationalization in order to ensure the implementation of institutional accreditation criteria and to comply with the World Federation for Medical Education standards.

Under the existing socio-economic conditions, the development of international collaboration in various fields has become essential in order to reduce the gap between USMF "Nicolae Testemitanu" and other medical institutions in Western European countries and the USA. This will ultimately contribute to the improvement of medical education, education through research and its alignment with international standards.

The University has cooperation relations with a number of internal and external partners, which contributes to the development of the educational process in terms of improving the quality of teaching, student training programs and expanding the material base of laboratories.
